Meet our staff
Pastor Curt Gordon
Pastor Curt Gordon was born and grew up in central Indiana. Growing up in a Christian home he
was introduced to Christ by his parents and thru the ministries of the local church. As a young
boy he received the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized.
It was in his high school years that he started seeing God’s call on his life to serve Christ in pastoral ministry. After graduating from high school Curt enrolled and graduated from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College. During college days Curt met his future wife, Connie who grew up in a Christian home in Michigan.
After attending Pillsbury, Connie received a degree in nursing and becoming an RN.
They were married in 1982. During their first ministry in Greenville Michigan Curt attended and
received a M.DIV degree from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary in pastoral studies. Curt and
Connie have served the Lord together as Curt has pastored churches in Michigan, Iowa, Ohio,
and came to Sharon Baptist Church in Hermitage Pennsylvania in July of 2019.
Curt also served as Executive Director and Connie as office manager of Lincoln Lake Baptist Youth Camp in Michigan. They have also been involved in short-term teaching ministries in Liberia West
Africa and Silchar, Assam India. Connie has served as an RN during all of their years of
ministry. Curt and Connie have a desire to help people grow past problems in their lives and
develop as mature followers of Jesus Christ through Biblical counseling.
Curt and Connie have two adult sons: Andrew married to Chelsey (Zoe &; Aletheia) in West
Virginia, Daniel married to Danae (Brezlin) in Iowa.
Curt enjoys rooting for Purdue Boilermaker sports teams as well as the Detroit tigers, Indy Colts,
and Indiana Pacers. He also enjoys golf, hunting &; watching his favorite sports teams.
Curt & Connie enjoy traveling on vacations together as well.
